Strong. Connected. Prosperous.
Tena koutou katoa,
My name is Paul Mepham (Paora). I am one of four brothers, the Father of seven children and Grandfather to eight. I am Uncle and Cousin to many. Our whakapapa links to Taranaki and Te Atiawa, are through the Hoani Te Matahiwi, Robinson, Jenkins and Ratahi whānau.
If you demand excellence for our people and are disgusted with the loss of $18 million since we received our Treaty settlement, and the attempted fire sale of Shelly Bay, then you should vote for me.
Shelly Bay 2016 was the signpost for change.
I will demand that the Board communicates fully and directly with the people, asking you which direction we should be going and then informing you how we are progressing towards those goals.
I will demand that all our people have the opportunity to participate in the life of our Trust through the keeping of an up-to- date and accurate register of owners.
Best Business Practice
I will demand that the Board formulates a Strategic Business Plan for the Trust that is based on your wishes and the guidance of our Trust Deed. I will demand truthful, transparent, regular reporting on the financial health of the trust and who is getting what.
I am a fighter and will fight for you and your children’s interests with intelligence and courage.
The pou of Kaitiakitanga, Kotahitanga and Turangawaewae will guide me in my work.
I ask for your vote.
